[TEMP] Community Training Workshop on Mangrove Monitoring Techniques

Over 50 community members from coastal villages participated in a three-day training workshop on mangrove monitoring techniques held at the NAREI facility in Mon Repos.

The workshop covered essential skills including:

• Tree height and diameter measurements
• Species identification
• Water quality testing
• Use of GPS and mobile data collection apps

Participants will now serve as community monitors, collecting regular data on mangrove health in their local areas.
